I Hate Making Videos!!!

by Nate on September 3, 2010

video marketingHello my friend,

So I was talking to a team member in my network marketing company, about video marketing.

We were talking about ways to get his feet wet and how one way he could do that is by using the 5 free videos that Mike Dillard gives for his Magnetic Sponsoring program (Get them at www.attract-your-prospects.com)

He could simply take the concepts he’s learned from them, create use own videos on each concept, and put them up on YouTube. That would put himself out there as well as allow him to promote his own affiliate link.

And his response to that led me to make this video.

Now if you think I did a good job in that video, THANK YOU!!! :-)

But you should have seen my first ones! They were bad. And the fact that they were bad was what prevented me from sharing them But I realized that it was more important to take action than to wait until I could get everything perfect. “Imperfect action is better than no action.”

So let’s get some ACTION. You have a message to share and no one can deliver the message quite like you!

Yours In Success,

Hey Nate, I can really relate to this. Video marketing also terrified me for a long time, until my mentor showed me how easy it is – you know, what I've discovered, is that the more often I get in front of the camera, the easier it becomes!

Now, with my primary business, it ALL goes about video so I'm really glad I embraced it when I did (not long ago).

I've come to realise that when I'm in front of the camera, all I've got to do is imagine that the person I'm talking to is actually sitting where the camera is – then it becomes easy!

The other thing is this – I don't try & make a video unless I know what I'm going to say before I start.

Then lastly…if it doesn't come out right the first time – the delete button is a handy thing! Just try again, some of my first attempts took 5 or 6 tries to get right!

Above all – stay inspired!
Michael

Great comment Michael. Its definitely a good tactic to imagine your audience sitting in front of you. And the cool thing is that if you mess up, you can just delete it and re-record! With video, you can create the perfect message for your prospects.
